"We REALLY wanted to love this historic, charming, quirky property located ideally inside the magnificent Chautauqua Institution. LeAnn clearly goes above and beyond to ensure all guests enjoy a delightful stay. But far too much falls on her shoulders. Guests willing to tolerate claustrophobic rooms and some of the "vintage character" that characterizes Chautauqua will probably be charmed, but anyone expecting a Marriott-like experience should look elsewhere. "We booked for this property a week ago and it took the money out of my account within 10 seconds. The day we went to the property I called the owner and they said it was not available. That was a long-term rental only we were only looking to rent it out for one day, but in my search, it came up and we took it and Now we are waiting for a refund. If it wasn’t available, it should’ve been in my search button in saying it. was very disappointed. We had to find last-minute hotel."

"If you like rustic cabins in a quiet setting this place is ideal. You can sit out by the fire at night and watch deer go by. The cabin is equipped with all the basics needed for your stay. Grocery store and restaurants were ten minutes away."

"The apartment is clean and well appointed. Owner was available for all questions and/or issues. Should we be in the area again, we would definitely return. The only drawback for us, and we are seniors, was that there was no railing on the staircase going up to the bedrooms."

"The house and property is in a great location! It’s close to the pier where my boys fished and kayaked. We toured the lighthouse which was so amazing. We had such a great time enjoying the local wineries as well. There was plenty of space in the house and it has everything you need. The trail to the fire pit was the best! The stars are amazing at night with the most beautiful sunsets! The host was very communicative, available, and gracious. Would definitely recommend!"
